Some showers and perhaps a few rumbles of thunder will be possible through mid to late morning over areas along and south of I-40. A cold front has been moving through and by this afternoon we will all dry out and enjoy a beautiful day! Highs will likely reach the upper 70s to near 80 with light northeast winds and some sunshine. Tonight will be cooler with lows in the low 50s by daybreak. Outlying areas we likely record temps in the 40s!

Enjoy the lower temperatures today and tonight as a warm up begins tomorrow. Sunshine and light south winds will help warm temps into the low to mid 80s tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures will become downright hot for May at the end of the week and into the holiday weekend...highs in the low 90s! Rain chances look slim to none.
