TULSA, Okla. -- It is now estimated in the United States that every two seconds Identity Theft claims a new victim.

In an effort to prevent Identity Theft, FOX23 is offering a free document shredding event on Friday, May 6th.  American Document will be outside the FOX23 Studio located at 2625 S. Memorial Drive Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

They will shred all documents, so bring any documents you don't want to end up in the wrong hands.
