There's shampoos, conditioners, hairsprays, mousse, and powders all geared to help with fine hair, but how do you know which products work best or even the best way to use them? Shirin Zakerion, hair stylist at V'las Salon & Spa suggests more blunt cuts for fine hair. "Fine hair can actually be the most ideal hair type for styling," she said. She suggests dry shampoo to soak up oil "so you don't have to wash daily, offering lift & body." She also says Powerfix or Aqua Sea Salt Spray - offers texture for fine hair. Her favorite option for washing fine hair is SuperPlump Shampoo & Conditioner. She said it's "formulated to be more light weight & cause the hair strands to swell, creating a fuller appearance," Zakerion said. "Use brush with nylon & natural bristles for smoothing & detangling. Rollers are a great way to create lots of volume," she said. She also recommends a powdery hair spray that's lightweight. "Avoid 'wet' hairsprays that can be heavy & tacky, she said.
