Sh*tty Mom doesn't come out until September, but already so many are talking about it. Oklahoman turned New Yorker Mary Ann Zoellner co-authored this hilarious parenting guide about getting through common parenting scenarios with ease and efficiency.
Zoellner offers help to deal with the mom who won't leave when she drops off her child.
1.
Include her in your plans. Perhaps she too is behind on her 30 Rocks. Perhaps she would like an adult beverage. If so, you may have made a friend. If not, she'll never bring her kid over again.
2. Just be honest..sort of. Tell her you have lots of laundry to do that you were hoping to get done while the girls played. Then stand there akwardly.
3. If all else fails do what Lacey suggested to me. Tell her you'd love to show her your child's birthing video, and see her run for the hills for a couple of hours.
