Makeup is fun! Don't be afraid to try new things. Makeup is not permanent, and it can always be taken off and redone.
The more you play, the more you will learn to love new techniques and products.

For a sun kissed look:

Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eye Shadow Collection $36
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil Duo in Oynx/Coffee $25
Estee Lauder Sumptous Two-Tone Eye-Opening Mascara in Bold Black/Rich Brown $28
Lancome Star Bronzer in 01 Lumiere $35
DuWop Illuminating Blush in Pomegranate $22
Too Faced Smoothing, Anti-Feathering Lip Pencil $18
Too Faced Glamour Gloss in Tickle Me $19

For a mod inspired look:

Estee Lauder Pure Color EyeShadow Duo in 02 Cobblestones $30
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil Duo in Oynx/Coffee $25
Estee Lauder Sumptous Two-Tone Eye-Opening Mascara in Bold Black/Rich Brown $28
Lancome Rouge In Love in Miss Coquelicot $$25
Lancome La Laque Fever in O So Coral $26.50
DuWop Keep Blushing in Peach $22

Tips for playful makeup:

1) Have fun! That is what makeup is all about. Don’t be afraid of bright colors.
They can always be sheered down if they are too intense initially.

2) Play at home! There is no better place to play with looks you have been wanting
to try than in the privacy of your own home.

3) Get an expert’s opinion. It never hurts to ask for help. The staff at Dillard’s
Promenade in the cosmetics section is always happy to help and show you new
colors and techniques.

4) Inspiration can come from anywhere! I often pull inspiration from nature, old
movies, or songs that invoke a feeling. Magazines and web articles are a great
source for makeup tips and looks, but you can also pull inspiration from just
about anywhere. Just open your eyes and let the ideas come pouring in.

5) Choose a feature to play up. When using bold colors, they can be overwhelming
when used all over the face. Choose a feature to showcase your new bright
colors such as your lips or cheeks and let them shine!

All products can be purchased at Dillard’s Promenade at 41 and Yale. The
products shown all range from $14-$40.
