Noah Bush is opening a new bar on third and Lansing called Hodges Bend. He'll be serving up classic cocktails and wine. Bush stopped by to create some spooky Halloween inspired cocktails. The Satan’s Whiskers cocktail is made with Gin, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, Grand Marnier, orange juice, and orange bitters.

The Corpse Reviver #1 has Cognac, Applejack, and sweet vermouth. "Corpse reviver was a style of cocktail that was meant to be a pick-me-up the next day after a night of drinking, hence the name," Bush said.

Recipes:

Satan's Whiskers
1 1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
1/4 oz Grand Marnier
1/4 oz fresh squeezed orange juice
dash orange bittlers

Combine all ingredients and shake, strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a orange peel.

Corpse reviver No. 1
1 1/2 oz cognac
3/4 oz applejack
3/4 oz sweet vermouth

Combine all ingredients in glass and stir, strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon peel.

Andrew Garfield says fame at young age is difficult to handle
Actor Andrew Garfield is glad he was well into his twenties before finding fame, because stardom at a young age would have sent him off the rails "like Justin Bieber" and he would have ended up in prison.
