Author and Tulsa Native Mary Ann Zoellner knows what it's like to be a mom having daughters of her own. The pressures of being a perfect parent are daunting and pretty much impossible, which is why Zoellner has co-written a book showcasing the challenges of mommyhood with hysterical mom situations.
"I really think moms and dads these days are extremely stressed out," Zoellner said. "They are beating themselves up over their less than perfect parenting moments and our book helps them laugh and release some of that guilt and know that they are not alone."
With chapters including "Ten-second rule: pacifier on the ground," "How to hand off the Newborn who just Filled a Diaper," and "When seeing an Infant Triggers a Mental Illness that Makes you want to have another baby," you can expect to laugh out loud while reading this book.
There is a Sh*tty Mom book signing event Saturday night at urban Furnishings at 7 p.m. Zoellner will be on hand to meeting everyone.
