Holiday Cocktails to Impress

Hosting a party can take a lot of time so skip the step of wondering what drinks to serve, and impress your guest with these cocktails from Valkyrie located in the Brady District.
Gimlet:
2 oz. Plymouth Gin
.5 oz.fresh Lime Juice (strained)
.5 oz. Simple Syrup
Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled old fashioned glass (the short ones.)
Garnish with a lime wheel
Saint Thomas Porter:
1.5 oz. Low Gap Whiskey
1 oz. Lillet Blanc
.5 oz. Cointreau
1 dash Jerry Thomas bitters
Stir with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a long orange twist.
