Planning a baby shower can be tricky. From deciding on a theme, to choosing food, many think of planning a shower and begin to shutter. Heidi Ducato has created six simple steps on how to plan the perfect shower without the stress. "Consider a reasonable budget. It’s very easy to get caught up in all of the fun ideas seen on websites such as pinterest and etsy," Ducato said. "Instead, pick a theme and search for bargains on websites such as www.amazon.com or www.birthdayexpress.com."
Of course you'll want to consider the gender of the baby, but you'll also want to consider the mom-to-be and her likes and dislikes, Ducato said. "A theme that reflects the décor of the baby’s room is also a good idea so that shower decorations could be used again."
Using decor that the bride can use at a later date will get the most out of the party.
"When choosing decorations, it is wise to consider objects that can be used again either for the baby’s room or supplies the new parents can use such as bottles, blankest and such," she said.
