"One easy tip to put the “fast” in breakfast is to have all ingredients prepped the night before. Most everyone in the restaurant business relies on this method, but it can be extremely helpful to a mom running late for work! For instance, my 'Dreamsicle Smoothie', chop fresh pineapple for a Sunday afternoon snack and it’s ready for Monday morning smoothies!" she said. "Gathering ingredients together makes for easy preparation."
"Do your kids like eggs? Start with ½ dozen eggs and boil or scramble them. They keep in your fridge for up to three (3) days," Hayslett said.
"Take a ¼ cup of scrambled eggs, slice of pita bread, few slices of chopped bacon and a sprinkle of co-jack cheese. These heat really well in a toaster oven and only take 5-7 minutes."
"Another option is a Toaster Sandwich. Start with one (1) boiled egg, slice, add bacon and cheese, microwave for approximately 45 seconds. Then layer on your favorite toast."

. Recipe for “Dreamsicle Smoothie”
32 oz plain non-fat yogurt
12oz frozen orange juice concentrate
4T honey (or to taste)
1 whole fresh pineapple (cored & chopped)
2 Scoops of Whey Protein – Optional
1/2c-1C ice cubes (to thicken & make slushy)
Add all ingredients to blender or processor and blend until ice is crushed.
Use this as your base smoothie recipe then add strawberries, banana, or any other fresh fruit.
