The Oklahoma Aquarium and the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra are coming together for the third annual "Symphony by the Sea." The night will feature songs including "Yellow Submarine," "Under the Sea" from the Little Mermaid, "Octopus's Garden" and more. The night will also feature food, cocktails and a silent auction with all of the proceeds will go back to both the Aquarium and the Symphony. "The proceeds are shared equally by the Aquarium and Symphony to support educational programs like Symphony by the Sea for Students," Teri Bowers Executive Director of the Aquarium said. Bowers said the Aquarium and Symphony have both an educational and economic benefit. "Without aquariums, museums and performing arts like the Symphony or ballet or theater, it would be very hard to attract visitors and even employees," she said.
Symphony by the Sea is 6 p.m. this Saturday at the Oklahoma Aquarium. Tickets are $250 for a couple. For ticket information visit
