LIFE Senior Services is pleased to announce that the 2012-13 edition of
LIFE’s Vintage Guide to Housing & Services is finally here! The complimentary annual publication is northeastern Oklahoma’s most comprehensive guide to senior resources, and is a valuable tool for older adults and family caregivers, as well as health care providers, social workers, aging services professionals and anyone who works with older adults.
To celebrate the release of the new publication, LIFE Senior Services and Promenade Mall have partnered together to sponsor LIFE’s Senior Living Fair on Saturday, July 14, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. The event will offer families the opportunity to talk with local experts in aging services and explore senior resources, services and housing options. Copies of the new
Vintage Guide will also be available at all the booths.
The new
Vintage Guide is bigger and better than ever – featuring more than 230 housing options, nearly 150 healthcare, hospice and specialty services, and 700+ community-based services. The publication’s articles, which address common questions regarding senior issues, have been updated and expanded. It also features a glossary of helpful terms and definitions related to aging services, and checklists for comparing different housing, healthcare and hospice options.
According to Laura Kenny, LIFE’s President and CEO, “The
Vintage Guide is designed to help seniors and their families navigate what can be a confusing and overwhelming array of options for older adults. Our goal is to arm them with accurate information and helpful resources so they can make decisions that best support their independence.”
Beginning July 16, copies of the
