Income tax comes from those working within that state, so what happens when they move to take their career to another state? Billions of dollars can be lost to that state. "How Money Walks" discusses this issue and the impact of this "massive movement of American working wealth." Oklahoma ranks "okay tax wise, but could be sandwiched in between Texas and Kansas," Author Travis Brown said. "The more people do in Tulsa to help lower taxes, the more we might see people from Missouri moving here," Brown said.

"As people grow their wealth at a younger age, technology is allowing people to work anywhere. People want to be able to protect their hard earned money, and want to live where that money will be protected.
