LIFE’s Senior Center at East Side hosts a Social Dance Class for seniors. We teach ballroom and country dances. In June we taught the Waltz and in July we will teach the Foxtrot. This is an ongoing activity, so dancers can learn a wide range of dances.

Social Dance is couple dancing, but you do not have to come as a couple. We also offer Line Dancing classes where participants do not dance with a partner.

Social Dance is a wonderful opportunity to learn ballroom and country dances. Besides the social connection, dancing is a wonderful exercise for the body and the brain. No experience is required and you do not need to have a partner prior to coming to the class. Anyone 55 years old or older may attend. Class is every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Sunny Lile and Leland Peters instructors. Line Dancing is Monday-Wednesday-Friday at 11:00 a.m.
