KC's Sons' Obsession...and his too! Beyblade!

Beyblades are such a fun...simple toy. I sincerely have had a blast with my boys playing Beyblade.

The toy started in Japan and was based on the 'Beigoma'...a traditional Japanese spinning toy. That was...FUN FACT ALERT!!!!!.....seen in the movie Titanic when a boy was playing with a Beigoma on the deck.

The cool thing about the Beyblade spinning tops is that they are customizable. They each come with a little wrench to take apart the top. You can then interchange rings and tips and design your own Beyblade.

The pieces of the tops are cool too. There are some rings that are heavy and strong. Some tips are built for stamina and some are a flat rubber type tip that makes the top do attack moves.
As a guy...I love the competition aspect.
You have a Beyblade stadium which is a plastic molded bowl. You each spin your Beyblades...after of course screaming...THREE TWO ONE...LET IT RIP!!!!!
The Beyblade spinning the longest wins. That simple.

There is a cartoon...which is...meh. The video game is fun...but...there is nothing like playing a real game with no screen in front of you!

The reason I really love these toys is the fact that I can play along with my kids. Have tournaments. See which configuration with make the Beyblade spin the longest.

Beyblades are so much fun. I'm thinking...I mean MY KIDS are thinking about inviting all of my...I MEAN THEIR...freinds over for a full blown tournament!!
