One of the first places I visited when I came to Oklahoma...was The Anchor Drive Inn.
I now take out of town guests there for a real, Bristow, Oklahoma, Creek County experience.
If you've ever taken a Route 66 trip, you know there are amazing antique shops, hotels, coffee shops and of course restaurants. The Anchor Drive Inn in Bristow is one of the establishments you must visit.
It's 'old school!' Been there since 1950. A white, cinder block building with booths and a few bar stools to enjoy some of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Let alone the bbq beef sandwich. Oh...and of course...the cheese fries.
Whether you are taking that Route 66 ride or just coming to Bristow to see a little Main Street USA. Stop by Anchor Drive Inn...get a cheeseburger, fries and a shake.
Hopefully I'll be in the booth next to you and...
then...you may thank me :)
