If you like games...like I like games, you know that usually the best games are the simplest ones.
Fluxx is one of my favorites to play. It's a simple card that starts with the basic rule...
Draw One...Play One.
The game is named Fluxx for a reason.
The word 'Flux' is defined as "being in constant change or fluctuation!"
OK...I said it was simple...well...here are the cards...and how you play the game:Green cards:
Keepers are the cards you set in front of you...and ultimately these are with what you win the game.
Yellow Cards:
These are changes to the rules...thus...FLUXX!!! It could change the rules to Draw 3...Play 4....A Limit on how many Keepers you can have...or how many cards are in your hand...you get the idea.
Blue Cards:
Action Cards! You just do what it says. You may trade hands...or draw 3 cards and play two of those cards. Action cards are fun.
Pink Cards:
Ah...the goal of the game! The goal can always change. For instance....if you have the Chocolate Keeper and the Milk Keeper in front of you...and someone plays the Goal "Chocolate Milk" which says if you have both of those cards on the table, you win. Boom...YOU WIN.
This game is for up to six people. It could last 5 minutes...or 30 minutes. I've actually played a game of Fluxx with four people and it was won on the fifth turn.
He laid the "Love" Keeper in front of him. On his next turn...he laid the Goal "All You Need is Love" which says, "If you have Love on the table and no other Keepers...you win"
