They are funny!! These kids are great!! I had belly laughs when I first read it--- I still get a good laugh! They were good sports for doing this for us!

Captain InsaneO, you are cracking me up! All of the responses are great! I just hope I can "Cross Train" come the Route 66, but my personal favorite is "filly"-- because to me, if I have to exercise, I must eat donuts that Clay will be providing us after Saturdays run! :-)

I think I could use some of these things in the future; "Come on group, let's Prefontaine so you don't get injured" or "Don't wick Golf Ball hill is not that bad". What does it say about me if I have used some of these terms in the same context as the 4th graders (negative splits and resting heart rate)?

My kids are having such a great time with this! Everytime I read a comment to them they all get a huge smile on their face! The other teachers at school think it's awesome too :) Can't wait to see you all Saturday.

Oh these are good!! And I going to go out on a limb here and say that the answers are probably at a much higher grade level than the group (M3 A and B) actually functions at! I will print this out and we will discuss during Saturday's 10 mile run! Rookie Coach Brian
