OHP Responds To FOX23 Report

   FOX23 made repeated attempts during the course of a month to request an interview or comment from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to include as part of the investigative report. (See the complete FOX23 investigation by clicking on the link on the right side of this page).  It was after the investigation aired that OHP commented on the report.

   Lt. George Brown said, "The Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigative division did thorough and comprehensive investigation...Our special investigative unit did this, they are not assigned directly with the trooper who was involved in this collision....The trooper involved in this collision was exceeding the speed limit so there was that aspect of the crash. This was never any cover up. We want the family to know that we do sympathize and this was a tragic ordeal."

It would show a lot of respect for our comunity if ohp would stop hiding behind those badges.just do the right thing and remember NOBODY!! is above the law.i love this town and love my family even more.people like that make this state even worse than it already is.

So what was his punishment for speeding in excess which took someone's life? Just curious??
