In 2007, the SEU employed 4 interns from Tulsa Technology; University of OK; Tulsa Community College.  These students received on-the-job training in News, production, promotions, programming and reporting.

Anti Discrimination training
for Managers


Techno Teen

In the month of June 2007, Managers were required to take a Broadcasting Initiative course on Preventing Discrimination in the workplace


On-site training at various school locations
Including training in the following areas such as video capture techniques,  video editing.  DVD authoring.  (See attached for details)

4th Quarter Initiative

On August 20th 2007 John Mercado trained the students of Coweta High School’s “Video Production” class on how to operate a Panasonic AG-DVC60 professional camcorder.  He also trained the students how to capture and edit video using Final Cut Studio software on an Apple iMac computer.

On August 21st 2007 John Mercado trained the students of Webster High School’s “Business-Video Production” classes on how to operate a Panasonic AG-DVC60 professional camcorder.  He also trained the students how to capture and edit video using Final Cut Studio software on an Apple iMac computer.

On August 22nd 2007 John Mercado trained the students of Skiatook High School’s “Video Graphics” class on how to operate a Panasonic AG-DVC60 professional camcorder.  He also trained the students how to capture and edit video using Final Cut Studio software on an Apple iMac computer.

On August 23rd  2007 John Mercado trained the students of Tahlequah High School’s “Video Production” class on how to operate a Panasonic AG-DVC60 professional camcorder.  He also trained the students how to capture and edit video using Final Cut Studio software on an Apple iMac computer.

On August 24th 2007 John Mercado trained the students of Muskogee High School’s “Video Information Processing” classes on how to operate a Panasonic AG-DVC60 professional camcorder.  He also trained the students how to capture and edit video using Final Cut Studio software on an Apple iMac computer.
