A man is recovering after being shot in the hand during a robbery in east Tulsa on Wednesday night.
Police say the victim had just gotten home from Walmart with his girlfriend and her children, in the 1300 block of east 17th street when two men walked up to him, and demanded his money.
After giving them the money he ran away, but one of the robbers opened fire, and hit the victim in the hand. Police say he was hit with a pellet possibly from a pellet gun or a shotgun. The victims girlfriend and the children were inside at the time and were not hurt.
Both suspects had their faces covered so there's no good description to go on. If you can help police catch them call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
