Just before 11:00pm, a car crashed into a power pole near 4th and Harvard.
Crews worked for almost an hour to cut the driver out of the car with the jaws of life, and he was taken to the hospital.
Police say alcohol may be a factor in this crash.
Crews have blocked traffic in the intersection while they clean up the mess.
