Tulsa Public Schools officials confirm an anonymous donor has given just more than $600,000 to save 15 teaching positions slated to be cut.

75 teaching jobs were at risk due to a shortfall in state funding.

Superintendent Dr. Keith Ballard is continuing to approach other donors to make up for the lack of funding in hopes of saving more teachers.

Now this person has the right idea, give anonymously, don't expect any public recognition for what you do, this person is a true benefactor trying to make life better for others! I would like to thank that person whoever they are, I no longer have any kids in TPS, but still, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your unselfish act.
