ok so after i saw this enterview that his wife did i almost fell over because i am rich's ex wife and was married to him during the time she is talking about.. first off he was in the navy and was never on the ground fighting during desert storm he was a gunners mate/ missilemen.. he was in the Persian galf only a couple months and the rest of the time it was peace time... I can not believe she went public and said the things she said.. 90% of it was a lie.. but with saying that i do believe he could have ptsd from other things that had happened to him but not from fighting in war...

It's entirely possible he may have been part of an operation that killed 600 people, given the type of warfare going on in Iraq and Afghanistan. The civilian deaths there are astronomical, but you have to look to Wikileaks to get the details.

The grenades were empty paperweights (like you might find in a detective's office) and the bobby traps were actually animal traps like you use to catch coyote. This is some seriously exaggerated bull.

War is not for everybody...imagine how some those that fought in the Ruhr Pocket in Germany felt when they came home...at times the cannon fire was so intense they could feel the ground shaking 50 miles away and this went on for weeks on end...don't recall any WWII vets building bombs or complaining about post stress

how does the government expect to train people to kill and fight in wars, then leave the military and be "normal" people??? they are trained killers!!! once in a war and have a kill, should be required to be in the military for life...

Right :-| He just needs a healthy outlet for his unnatural desires. Find him a farmer with a field full of tree stumps that need to be blown. Pretend tree stumps are the enemy.

"He's not the lunatic, he's not the psychotic person that everybody is saying he is, he's a war veteran who has nightmares about going to kill over 600 people," said his wife. Are you sure that's what she said? Because it makes absolutely no sense. He's not a monster...he's just dreaming about killing over 600 people?
