An armed robbery is caught on tape in a convenience store in Muskogee. The gunman walked in wearing a skeleton mask. He stole more than $400 is caught on camera.

Police arrested 20-year-old Willie Washington for the crime.

A store clerk can be heard screaming for the armed man, now known as Washington, to just take the money.

"It's so frustrating and depressing and sad that we work so hard and somebody just walk in with a gun and get all the money," said Reza Hayat, one of the storeowners.

He showed FOX23 the surveillance video Friday after hearing the gunman was arrested.

"I know him,” said the store owner. “I was sad to see it was him."

Police arrested Washington two days after the holdup.

"He's here almost everyday," said Hayat.

The store owner says it hurts seeing someone in his store everyday decide he wants to rob it.

"We're trying to make an honest living,” Hayat said. “Please don't do this to us."

"When someone like this comes and tries to take what's not theirs, they're going to end up in jail. Plain and simple," said Muskogee Police Officer Pedro Zardeneta.

Hayat is installing a bullet proof window to make sure his clerks will have protection.
