Tulsa police and OSBI agents are looking for a person of interest in the death of an NSU professor.
Law enforcement officials want to find Joshua Schneider, 33.
He has been named a person of interest in the death of Dr. Tiffany Maher. Maher was found dead in her Tahlequah home in May.
Police attempted to stop Schneider Thursday afternoon in south Tulsa, but they say he took off. The police pursuit ended with Schneider escaping from police in the area of 21st and U.S. 169.
Police found the silver Nissan 4-door sedan he was driving about two hours later near Garnett and Pine. Schneider's 2-year-old daughter was left inside the car alone. She was not harmed.
Investigators say Schneider is with his girlfriend, Heather Black, but they think she may have changed her appearance. Agents now have credible information that Black has cut her hair and dyed it a dark color.
Schneider has several felony warrants out, including false declaration of property and failure to comply with the Oklahoma sex offender registry act. Both have a $100,000 bond attached.
If you know where Schneider or Black are, please call 911 or the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
