A court hearing for two Victory Christian employees accused of waiting too long to report allegations of assault has been delayed.
John and Charica Daugherty, the son and daughter-in-law of the chuch co-founder and pastor at the 17,000 member church, are each charged with one misdemeanor count of failing to report abuse. They’re accused of failing to report assault against a 13-year old girl at church.
A pre-trial hearing scheduled for January 25th has been rescheduled for February 13th, the same day three other Victory Christian employees are expected in court on the same charges.
All have pleaded not guilty.
