Victim, neighbors hold burglary suspect for police

Neighbors spot a man chasing a suspected burglar and join the chase.

Police say a man came home around 11:30 on Thursday night and saw someone run out of the garage at his home near 39th and Peoria. Police say the man started chasing the suspect, James Dutton.

Police say when neighbors saw him chasing the suspect they joined in and caught the suspect and held him in the parking lot of the Ace Hardware at 41st and Peoria until police arrived.

Dutton was arrested for 2nd degree burglary. The homeowner found items stolen from his home hidden nearby.
