A chain is wrapped around a gate FOX23 News exposed that was unsecure at the apartment complex where there was a quadruple murder.
The pedestrian gate where residents would kick or reach through the gate and unlock it on the other side, now has a chain around it.
On Monday, four women were executed in Fairmont Terrace. Twin sisters, Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Melchor who were 23, Misty Nunley, 33 and a neighbor, Julie Jackson, 55 were gunned down in an apartment near 61
st & Peoria.
Before the murders, management at Fairmont says security would randomly check IDs at the drive-thru gate and scan their IDs. They worked with Tulsa Police on how to better their security last fall.
However, residents and those uninvited would use the unsecure pedestrian gate.
FOX23 News obtained a copy of the letter from Fairmont Terrace that states security will be increased. All residents and visitors and passengers and pedestrians must use the drive-thru gate. Anyone over 18 must have an ID. Anyone who does not have an ID will not be allowed inside and the visitors must be buzzed in.
It says the pedestrian gate will be locked permanently.

Tulsa Police homicide detectives say they have not named a suspect or have determined a motive.
The person of interest, Joseph Tillman, 33, was arrested in Independence, Kansas on a separate warrant involving assault and battery. Detectives have spoken to him but tell FOX23 he is not a suspect.
Homicide detectives named him as a person of interest after he refused to talk to police. They say Tillman had a relationship with one of the victims.
