I dont believe it is the music.... but I do believe that the "teens" these days are the children of the parents that were told not to spank their children and to put them in "time out" and not to disagree with thier children as it may cause them undue stress and to just basically give them whatever they want, so they can be happy. Now all of a sudden everyone is so surprised to see people that have been spoiled their whole lives with parents that decided to treat their children NOTHING are out running around rampant. Why is this a shock? If you dont teach a CHILD respect and consequences when they are young, (5-10 years old) it will not LEARN them as they get older. I see teens, and older just stealing EVERYTHING they can get their hands on and hurting people...this shows me that they have no sense of RESPECT at all! that is what is LOST and until we figure that out then these disrespectful spoiled brats will just keep getting worse and worse. I am in no way saying we have to beat or children but they need discipline and guidance... I see my friends children now and I fear the world. It scares me to death... Even commercials on TV.. one shows the kid WHINNING in the store so much the mother gives in and "gives the child what it wants" is how the commercial put it. WHAT??? Are you serious? and another where the child wont eat is veggies, so just give him this delicious shake full of nutrients.. yeah dont make him mind, just give him the easy way out. WOW.. we dont make them appreciate anything. You want something take it, is the message they are sent. What kind of character are we building? Sad. Sad. Sad.

Like I have said before, mtv has been promoting this lifestyle for more than 20 years. We are in a new dark ages where intellectualism, gentility, manners, respect for others, hard work, devotion to family are for nerds.Swagger rules the day now,it's all about me no matter what it does to everyone else.

Getatme - I don't think this has anything to do with the "elite", more along the lines of greed, stupidity, and lack of respect. You can blame the "elite" all you want, seems to be an easy scape goat for all the people who don't want to do anything about the problem. The problem isn't easy to solve, but steps can be taken in a positive direction. It starts with the individual and their influences. Anyone can be easily influenced, but it takes respect, morals and some intelligence to make ones own decision. Without those qualities, it is every thug for themselves.

It's most likely the music that's brain washing these youngsters it's a certain frequency in the music and then the lyrics behind the music which is controlled by the elite! Music is powerful it can control your thoughts I remember back in the day we had positive music that uplifts people now its gangsta this gangsta that and promoting dope dealing! Can you remember back in the day that heavy metal made white folks kill there self just because what the lyrics were saying and the frequency of the music well thats what rap music is to young black youth they believe the lyrics and these rich rappers can give less than a damn who's killing each other just as long as they stay rich, the big record label's only let you put out music that is evil and speaks about killing and dope dealing its all being controlled by the elite its a plan to wipe us out especially young blacks yep it gets deep!
