Tulsa police searching for passenger in police chase

Police are searching for one person and have another in custody after a police chase overnight.

Police tried to pull a car over on Skelly drive around 1:15 on Friday morning. Police tell FOX23 the drive looked like he was trying to pull over, but then sped off.

Police chased him northbound on Peoria until the driver lost control and hit a tree near 31st. Police say the driver and passenger both ran from the car, police did catch the driver but the passenger got away.

He faces charges for traffic violations, including eluding an officer.
