Tulsa police arrested two suspected copper thieves after conducting surveillance on Wednesday night.
Gilcrease Division Investigators and patrol officers conducted surveillance at Greater Grace Church at 1010 E 56th St. North around 9:30 on Wednesday night. Police say the church recently had several air conditioning units stolen.
Police say they saw two suspects in an enclosed area of the property, tampering with the air conditioning units. Police say a car pulled into the lot and the suspects ran away but then returned and started dismantling the units.
Police arrested Jerome Lane and Jerome King on six counts of felony malicious injury to property and two counts of felony possession of copper.
