Police say on Saturday night Zachary Hynes robbed a Walgreens at 51st and Lewis, demanding Oxycoting and Lortabs.

According to the pharmacist, the suspect said he had a gun, but never produced it. Afterwards, two other witnesses took down the Osage Nation tag number on the truck Hynes left in.

Officers were then able to locate the truck and talk to the driver. They admitted to driving Hynes to Walgreens but denied knowing what had happened inside.

Using an address from the driver, police were able to find Hynes and arrest him. Inside the house, they also found empty pill bottles, matching what was stolen from Walgreens.

Hynes' bond was set at $50,000 for armed robbery.
