Tulsa man accused of holding kids hostage for $100

Tulsa police arrested a man accused of holding his ex-girlfriend’s children hostage for $100.

Police said the children’s mother called them and said she was fighting with her ex-boyfriend, Cody Lee Panther, and he took both of her children without her permission.

She told police Panther then started texting her that he would not bring the kids back if she did not pay him $100. Police arrested Panther on two counts of child stealing.
