The Central Oklahoma Metro Interdiction Team found nearly 500 pounds of pot during a traffic stop on Sunday.

Investigators attempted to pull the truck over because of speeding, but after the drugs were found two people were arrested.

"When approached, both the driver and the passenger produced fake Mexican driver licenses", said Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel.

Whetsel says also in plain sight in the backseat and bed of the truck were several cardboard boxes wrapped in tape. "A K-9 was called to search the truck and the dog alerted his handler that there were drugs inside the vehicle. There were a total of 6 boxes containing 369 packages of marijuana that weighed a total of 492 pounds", said Sheriff Whetsel. The street value of the marijuana is estimated to be worth nearly $750,000.00.

Two people were arrested, 20-year old Cruz Rodriguez and 17-year old Jose Pena. Both were booked on a complaint of trafficking a controlled dangerous substance, and are being held on $25,000 bond.

Illegal NSA wiretaps, fed to DEA and made to look like a routine traffic stop. So, who broke the most laws here?
