@aleman and @foot0822 - ANY dog can be vicious. I've been bitten by German Shepherds and Dachshunds that were well loved and cared for family pets, but they got mean. It is clear that this dog was a stray, it was severely underweight and probably could sense when the kid got tense and afraid. The kid should have called Animal Control. Deadly force is not a reasonable option. If it was, I'd be allowed to shoot at every Pomeranian, Shitzuh, and toy Poodle that freaks out and lunges at me when I walk my very timid former bait dog on a proper responsible leash. He shies away and does nothing while they bark and lunge and growl. Who's the vicious dog then? Don't judge a dog by its looks, its just another form of Racism.
