A Tulsa teen charged with first degree murder entered a not guilty plea in court on Monday.
Josiah Sklar, 19, is charged for the death of Linda Laird.
Police say Sklar told police he was with Hank Laird when he beat his mother with the butt of a shotgun.
Arrest records show Sklar told police he was in the victim's home when she was beaten and that she appeared to be alive after the beating but did not call for help because he was scared of Hank Laird.
Sklar told police he gave the victim a pillow and went to sleep in another room. Sklar's next court date is scheduled for March 14th.
A not guilty plea was entered on Laird's behalf last week.
