Suspect in Kayla Ferrante's death enters not guilty plea

The man accused of shooting and killing Tulsa teen Kayla Ferrante has entered a not guilty plea.
Edwin Jermaine Daniels is charged with 1st degree murder and shooting with intent to kill. Daniels is accused of firing an AK-47 rifle at the car Ferrante and her boyfriend were in, Ferrante was killed.
Court records allege Daniels thought two rival gang members were in the car. Police recovered the gun that killed Ferrante in Daniel’s aunt’s yard.
The trial is scheduled for April 8th, 2013.
