Rogers county deputies and an off duty Tulsa County deputy caught four suspected thieves in the act.

RCSO officials say the deputies responded to a call of four men breaking into a vehicle in the 111800 block of 150th East Ave on June 15th, just before midnight. Witnesses told deputies the suspects had run away and deputies set up a perimeter.

Officials say that’s when an off duty Tulsa County Sheriff’s deputy called dispatch and reported he was behind a suspicious green Jeep. Deputies went to his location and arrested the four suspects. Investigators say one of the teens admitted to going to ‘hit licks.’ The teen explained ‘hit licks’ meant finding cars that were unlocked and stealing stuff.

Deputies arrested three suspects on burglary and conspiracy charges. Another suspect also faces an obstruction charge for giving false information.
