A pair of robbers held up two victims at a convenience store and a motel in the last week and demanded victims take off their pants.

"You don't often see people getting their pants pulled off as part of a robbery," said Robbery Sgt. Brandon Watkins.

Police say a man was robbed outside the Tulsa Inn and Suites motel near 31st & Memorial Thursday morning. The robbers forced the man in his room, pistol whipped him and made him strip down.

Early Sunday morning, a man and woman were carjacked at the EZ Mart at 37th and Memorial.

Police say a robber demanded the man take off his pants.

Police believe it's the same robbers who held up a man in the motel.

Probably the main reason for demanding people remove their pants, jeans, or other clothing is that they the robbers can escape and when the robbers get away its not a likely chance that a pantless person will go chasing after them and then trying to explain how you got robbed, and was forced to remove your pants might lead police to believe your making it up. I've heard of even weirder stories than this. When I was in Australia a robber was demanding that all his victims remove *all* clothing.
