Tulsa police are searching for a man that robbed a gas station just after midnight Wednesday.

Police said the man walked into the Phillips 66 at 1448 S. Utica Avenue at 12:30 a.m. and asked the clerk for the cheapest cigar. They said when the clerk turned to get the cigar the suspect climbed over the counter and demanded money.

Police said the clerk opened the register and the suspect removed the money. The clerk stated the suspect said “don’t get killed.” Surveillance video of the crime is on the TPD YouTube page.

After getting the money the suspect climbed back over the counter and ran from the store. There was no weapon seen and the clerk was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to CRIMES.

You gotta be a dumbass to rob a convenience store. You'd be lucky to get $50.
