Tulsa Police ended the standoff in South Tulsa and took David Childers into custody.

Police used a chemical substance to draw Childers out of the apartment. Childers had warrants out for his arrest.

Tulsa police officers said a man was making threats to kill himself at the London Square Apartments near 56th and Lewis around 7:00 Thursday night. FOX23 arrived on the scene to find families unable to get to their homes.  Police would only allow some families inside.

Officers surrounded the inside of the complex as well as the outside.
