TPD confirms Joseph L. Tillman, wanted on a warrant from Tulsa County, is in custody in Kansas.

@TulsaFails: The Mayor? Is the mayor supposed to strap on some six-shooters and go shoot up the apartment complex? That is nonsense. As long as the public at the apartment complex protects the gangs it will be difficult to fix.

The mayor doesn't want to offend anyone,cowards get a lawyer who is a fellow Mason buddy of the judge,cops have their hands tied and are outgunned by this trash,liberals have crammed all these people into one place and dehumanized them...I saw this coming twenty years ago,there ain't no hope for this country now

@TulaFails. Although the Mayor, Prosecutors and all you have mentioned are certainly part of the issue. But more importantly the citizens (honest ones) are as much at fault for not getting more involved with the Police and City Officials in addressing the issues and finding solutions. I do know that the TPD is very responsive to citizens calls and reports. Maybe, if the citizens of this and other "High Crime" area's contacted the police with License Numbers, Names, etc all of Tulsa could experience a drop in crime. I know very personally that this works. If you aren't going to be part of the solution then you are part of the problem.

today is only the 9th and they say that there have only been 7 murders this year and its at it lowest...OMG thats nearly one murder every day. Is that really how bad it is.

Makes me nervous that we are naming the neighbor that's been told to be quiet!! Maybe some tact could be used here by the news. That being said, TulsaFails very well said!!

I'm sure they will get the guilty party here. In the last two years there has been eight people killed at that apartment complex alone. Where has the mayor been? Where has the district attorney been? What has your duly elected judges been doing? I think the cops are the only ones actually trying to do anything! Nothing will change here, until there is an actual plan to change it. Your current elected officials will smooze this over until if fades away from the front pages. More have been killed and more will be killed. Get yourself a new mayor, a new district attorney, new councilmen/women and new judges.
