A Tulsa woman convicted of murdering her husband will appeal her conviction.

Papers filed on May 1st show Amber Hilberling will appeal the jury’s verdict. Hilberling was convicted of 2nd degree murder for the death of her husband. Josh Hilberling died after being pushed through the window of the couple’s high rise apartment.

A judge upheld the jury’s sentencing recommendation and sentenced Hilberling to 25 years in prison. Hilberling has hired a new attorney, Clark Brewster, to handler the appeal.
