Owasso police are letting the DA decide to determine if chares will be filed in a deadly shooting.

Police say Edward Templeton was shot and killed around 4 p.m. on Sunday. Police say they were called to a home near 115th St. East and 110 St. North. Police say they were told a homeowner allegedly shot a man trying to break into his home.

Police say their investigation revealed Templeton and the homeowner were acquaintances and had been involved in a verbal and physical altercation prior to the shooting.

Police did not make any arrests and the case will be submitted to the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office to determine if charges will be filed.
