Owasso man faces child abuse charges

An Owasso man is out on bond after police arrested him for child abuse on Friday night.

Police said neighbors called police on Lee Thao after they heard banging and children crying. Police said Thao admitted punishing his two boys by hitting them with hangers and slapping them.

According to the arrest report the boys told police their father used hangers, nails, a phone charger and a toy gun to punish them.

Officers stayed with the boys until their mother got home from work.
