Okmulgee County Sheriff's Deputies investigating stabbing death

The Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the stabbing death of a man.

Deputies said on July 31st the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call just before 8:30 p.m. in reference to a man that had been stabbed at a trailer park located at 814 S Kern in Okmulgee, OK.

When deputies arrived, they discovered 39-year-old John C. Rubison with stab wounds and he was rushed to Okmulgee Memorial Hospital by Okmulgee County EMS where he later was pronounced dead.

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office and the Okmulgee County District Attorney's Office the victim’s wife, 30-year-old Tabitha Lynn Rubison was taken into custody and booked into the Okmulgee County Jail on a complaint of 2nd Degree Murder.
