An Amber Alert is over for an eight month old girl out of Delaware County.

The Delaware County Sheriff's office says eight month old Carolinn Altaffer and her mother have been located at the Grove ER.

An Amber Alert was issued after sheriff's deputies say the infant's parents, Ronald and China Altaffer, took off with her from Grove Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff's office says the baby was supposed to be taken into protective custody because the child is in need of medical attention for extreme malnutrition.

@Mrs Glenpool What exactly says anything about them having food stamps? Not to be rude but you cant exactly assume something like that from reading that the baby was malnurished. Yeah its terrible and all but you have no way of knowing anything like that.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad this beautiful baby was found alive! I'm incredibly DISGUSTED with evil and selfish people liek this! I'm sure they were eating well from the food stamps they were receiving from all of our tax dollars but this poor baby suffered so much. At least all the suffering is ovr now and time to look at a positive outlook for this baby. God please watch over her!

I seen that poor baby girl the Sunday before they took off with her at my work place. She looks nothing like the picture you see here. She is 8 months old but is so small she looks like an 6 month old and looks like she weighs 12 pounds. She is very pale yellow and very skinny. You could touch her skin and feel her bones. Her ankles were bout the size of a quarter. They only feed her water. She has never seen a doctor or had any of her shots. She was also covered in dog hair and had a black eye were a dog had attacked her. The parents said that she was just fine and nothing was wrong with her. People even offered the young parents to take her to the doctor. But they got upset and hurried up and left the store. They had foodstamps to buy her formula but instead they were buying candy and 20oz. Mt Dews. Please Lord let that Baby Girl be found or shes going to die.
