Missing Tulsa girl found safe, suspect in custody

Tulsa police have located the issued an Amber Alert for a missing two-year old girl.

Unique Gill was found safe just before 5 p.m. on Thursday in north Tulsa. 

Police said shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, two-year old Unique Gill was forcibly taken from her daycare near 5900 S. Peoria Ave.

Police said witnesses stated Shannon Dean, also known as Shannon Baker, entered the daycare and grabbed Unique from the arms of a worker and left with her.

Dean is a registered sex offender with convictions for kidnapping and rape.

Dean left in a navy blue Nissan Murano possibly a 2006 model with tinted windows.

Police said there is a current protective order in place for Unique and her mother listing Dean as the defendant. He is to have no contact with the child and is considered a non-custodial parent.

Dean is considered dangerous as he is a heavy drug user and had a smell of alcohol about his person. Dean is a Tulsa resident but it is unknown where he may be currently staying.

He could be driving a Navy Blue Nissan Murano possibly a 2006 model with tinted windows.

A citizen should call 911 if they see the suspect or the suspect vehicle.
