Mayor to hold televised forum about 61st & Peoria area

Mayor Bartlett will host a televised forum about 61st and Peoria Area on Tuesday. 

Mayor Dewey Bartlett will host a televised forum tomorrow, Jan. 29, 10 a.m., about the recent tragedy at 61st and Peoria and discuss the needs in this area.

The forum will take place at the Tulsa Community College Center 4 Creativity Green Room, 909 S. Boston Ave.

The forum will be recorded “live to tape” and televised at a later date on Tulsa Community College TV, Cox Channel 21, and TGOV, Tulsa Government Television, Cox Channel 24., Cox On Demand and Video On Demand at

Panel members will include Mayor Dewey Bartlett, Deputy Tulsa Police Chief Dennis Larsen, Kayla Robinson, Marshall Elementary Principal and Lanny Endicott, ORU Professor and resident of the area.

Because of the limited space in the studio, audience participation is limited. A media panel will ask questions of the panel members, including Adam Paluka from FOX23.

In all reality 61st and Peoria is not the only problem spot we have here in Tulsa. I just watched the copper chopper fly around pioneer plaza area for about 40 minutes hot spotting in the woods for criminals. There is bad trouble right in the back yard of the mayors office.

why don't he do his "live to tape" tv forum AT 61st and Peoria instead of hiding downtown?! is he scared???!!! why don't he do it at nite at 61st and Peoria? is he afraid he mite get raped and shot!!! lol

Oh boy!All the TV cameras will be there,he'll give the usual sermon then go home and it will be back to status quo,The Great Coddler won't do anything...don't worry gang cowards it's all talk...he doesn't want to offend anyone,we are a national joke even my relatives from California hear about us.
